While choosing the future she wanted to make for herself, she made stops in photography, anthropology, and genetics before finding her passion in nutrition sciences. As she worked her way through school, she gained over 20 years of customer service experience, a love and knowledge of the power of supplements, and through her externship at Bastyr University, a love of helping her surrounding community. While at Bastyr she explored culinary classes, sports nutrition, and developed a deep love for research into how the body works and its ability to heal itself from the inside out.

As one of the first nutritionists to join Persona, Karina was instrumental in building the foundation of our research. Now, she is our Customer Service manager and continues to help us grow through her research and customer relationships.

Karina doesn't let her health issues and food sensitivities define her and believes highly in an 80/20 lifestyle. She often reminds people that nobody is perfect all the time, and nutritionists are no exception. Karina hopes to soon offer nutrition education through cooking lessons and educational info sessions for families in her community.

In her spare time, Karina can be found cooking, crafting, and enjoying the outdoors with friends. She often makes amazing things in the Persona kitchen to share with anyone willing to try her small kitchen creations.
